For this activity, use a pocket chart. You canfind in your teachers supply stores or online. They are perfect for classroom and not just you, you can use it in many different ways. If you're not sure what that is Google the phrase "pocket cards" and learn more about them. However, if you do not want to use a pocket chart, you can simply cards on the table. But, as I always say that you attend the best tools for the class to see that the whole class can use.
Then take 27 IndexCards and write each of the New Testament books, one for each card. However, make sure that children can not see through, passing on the other hand, if you are on. Put the cards on the chart in order in the Bible - Matthew to Revelation.
Prepared now it takes 15 points. You can with construction paper if you like. But once again, make sure that children can not see through and beyond the other, if they are on. Twelve card points30-50 on them. Give each card one of these point values. For example, you might have 40-30, 40-40 and the 50-50 is. The other two cards, write the words "Rap OUT. Distribute all 15 cards on the floor. They are playing now.
Divide the class into two teams. Ask the first child to come and get a card point on the floor. Regardless of how many points it takes, the amount is able to accomplish for his team. You then go to him for the chart and then two cards of the book. He noweveryone has to say, 27 books of the New Testament without error, do the points made. If he tells them is wrong, his team loses points, but the cards remain the book upside down. With each person, the game becomes more difficult.
